FORGOTTEN TRACES

A place changes over time. All that has been done there is forgotten as the rain washes away our traces.

But how does a place that has hosted a crime change, and how does someone feel when they know it as they walk through it?

This photographic series, which addresses these questions through 16:9 framing, aims to simulate the cinematic frames of mystery and horror films.

Hence the unidentifiable faint figures that emphasize a sense of presence-absence in the scene.

The images that make up the sequence are key points where attempted murders or assassinations have taken place.

We follow the route and the last traces of the murderers and the murdered on the streets where they acted and moved.
